MSI Optix MPG321UR-QD 4K 144Hz Monitor Launches in Japan
4K gaming monitors with 144 Hz and above seem to be the subject of much talk this year, and MSI, not missing its chance to take its share of the market, has launched the Optix MPG321UR-QD in Japan along with the rest of the world, which is likely to follow soon.
The display was originally announced in June along with a number of new displays from MSI, but will only be available for retail by the end of this month.
Supports up to four (4) computers via a USB 2.0 hub with three inputs and six outputs. This is at least a first when it comes to support for so many computers. It also has a 3.5mm headphone and microphone jack, as well as a PC combo jack input. For once, we also have an MSRP to accompany the product launch, and things stop being interesting here for most people as MSI is asking for 159,800 yen, or about $1,465. Note that electronics tend to be more expensive in Japan, so the retail price should be lower in other countries.
